In the 9th minute, Dé Mangueira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Șerban Iacobeanu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 13th minute Luís Eduardo Leão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Șerban Iacobeanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silviu Hârlab hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 14th minute of the game. One of Rasnita:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Raining Blood:s goal. The referee gave Raining Blood a penalty, 15 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Waldir Santos, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Rasnita's Șerban Iacobeanu. 0-2. When Luís Eduardo Leão came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Raining Blood fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Eduardo Leão couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Rasnita's Ernest Gâfu got a free kick in the 19th minute. After 20 played minutes Rasnita got a freekick which was hit by Ernest Gâfu. In the 22nd minute, Gelu Tăzlăuanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Albertinho Mattos was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. 25 minutes into the game, Aurelian Siadbei was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rasnita's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Raining Blood the free kick. The supporters of Raining Blood booed when Rasnita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelian Siadbei didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raining Blood's Waldir Santos got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcel Andrade hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gelu Tăzlăuanu in the 38th minute of play forced Raining Blood's goalkeeper Albertinho Mattos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albertinho Mattos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gelu Tăzlăuanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Raining Blood's Albertinho Mattos got control of the ball when Dacian Doman tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half Raining Blood were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gelu Tăzlăuanu to strike the kick off in the second half. Șerban Iacobeanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Eduardo Leão in the 53rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Luís Eduardo Leão's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Șerban Iacobeanu was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Leonard Chirculescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Albertinho Mattos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raining Blood made a substitution. Gil Figueiredo replaced Luís Eduardo Leão. Marcel Andrade's late challenge caught a Rasnita's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcel Andrade helped the player get up and apologised. In the 60th match minute, Raining Blood was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcel Andrade to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute of the match Dacian Doman sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Albertinho Mattos skillfully saved the ball. In the 61st minute, Laércio Andrade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th match minute, Rasnita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pavel Alucusan to maneuver through the defense. Dacian Doman's late challenge caught a Raining Blood's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dacian Doman helped the player get up and apologised. Dacian Doman kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Waldir Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Raining Blood's supporters rose to their feet, but Waldir Santos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Șerban Iacobeanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Șerban Iacobeanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gil Figueiredo in the 78th minute of play. 80 minutes into the game, Gil Figueiredo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Șerban Iacobeanu. Gil Figueiredo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. In the 86thth minute of the game Gelu Tăzlăuanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Raining Blood's Albertinho Mattos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Laércio Andrade kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. The supporters of Raining Blood booed when Rasnita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gavril Manea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Șerban Iacobeanu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gil Figueiredo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 93 minute of play. The Rasnita supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Raining Blood's performance. The match ended with a win for Raining Blood.
