Mădălin Vintilescu took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Șerban Iacobeanu. Șerban Iacobeanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 6 played minutes Fc S.Zaharesti got a freekick which was hit by Mădălin Vintilescu. After 9 minutes of play, Rasnita's Leonard Chirculescu made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcel Noica was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Fc S.Zaharesti's Pompiliu Petrea got a free kick in the 12th minute. When Dacian Doman came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Rasnita fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dacian Doman couldn't finish the play. Marcel Noica was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Leonard Chirculescu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Leonard Chirculescu really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. In the 21st minute, Viorel Lelescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pompiliu Petrea hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Marcel Noica showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gelu Tăzlăuanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mădălin Vintilescu in the 31st minute of play forced Rasnita's goalkeeper Șerban Iacobeanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Șerban Iacobeanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marius Encioiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. If Pavel Alucusan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcel Noica didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gelu Tăzlăuanu went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Mădălin Vintilescu made the kick off in the second half. Gavril Manea blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcel Noica having to make a save. The supporters of Rasnita booed when Fc S.Zaharesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viorel Lelescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st minute Gelu Tăzlăuanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcel Noica saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcel Noica didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gelu Tăzlăuanu went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to Rasnita getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Sever Apostol hit a great ball. In the 73rd match minute, Fc S.Zaharesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cornel Moisil to maneuver through the defense. 78 minutes into the game, Felix Ghizdeanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fc S.Zaharesti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rasnita the free kick. The supporters of Rasnita booed when Fc S.Zaharesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Ghizdeanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonard Chirculescu charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonard Chirculescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gelu Tăzlăuanu scored 5-1 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcel Noica, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 88 minutes into the game, Gelu Tăzlăuanu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Marcel Noica was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. During the 93rd minute of the match Mădălin Vintilescu completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Mădălin Vintilescu a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 93rd match minute, Fc S.Zaharesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mădălin Vintilescu to maneuver through the defense. Rasnita walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
