Duda de Sousa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Sönke Odenwälder made a huge save. In the 15th minute Bruce Pesch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Valladares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Izaltina FAD's Diego Valladares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Batho König in the 19th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Izaltina FAD's goal looked a bit too open when Heimko Schober came free, but Diego Valladares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diego Valladares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Heimko Schober, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. When Bruce Pesch came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruce Pesch couldn't finish the play. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Izaltina FAD's goalkeeper Diego Valladares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Osmar Donato made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Batho König fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When Bruce Pesch, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 52 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Diego Valladares was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Duda de Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sönke Odenwälder having to interfere. With a little luck, Izaltina FAD's Diego Valladares got control of the ball when Bruce Pesch tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Izaltina FAD's Ricardinho Arantes got a free kick in the 59th minute. Patrick Osterhagen hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Osmar Donato fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sönke Odenwälder having to interfere. Maximilian Stößlein charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maximilian Stößlein the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
