Spectators: 7688 (Terracing: 5767, Seating: 1768, VIP seats: 153) Rasnita's Gelu Tăzlăuanu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Robin Riese showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gelu Tăzlăuanu in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 4th minute, Nickolas Kaiser got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tommi Braun in the 8th minute of play forced Rasnita's goalkeeper Șerban Iacobeanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Șerban Iacobeanu came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by FV Wienerwald's Daniel Trattnig. But to his dismay, Daniel Trattnig quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 13 minutes of play, FV Wienerwald's Tommi Braun made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Șerban Iacobeanu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Șerban Iacobeanu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joachim Wolf went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. 25 minutes into the match, Rasnita's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Trattnig came free, but Șerban Iacobeanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Leonard Chirculescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Robin Riese. FV Wienerwald's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonard Chirculescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Șerban Iacobeanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erich Otten in the 36th minute of play. After 37 minutes of play, FV Wienerwald's Daniel Trattnig made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Șerban Iacobeanu was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Trattnig was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, FV Wienerwald's goal looked a bit too open when Sever Apostol came free, but Robin Riese reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With 52 minutes on the clock, Aurelian Siadbei commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Aurelian Siadbei hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Șerban Iacobeanu was a little too slow when Nickolas Kaiser got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 53rd minute. The score was now 1-5. 56 minutes into the match, Rasnita's goal looked a bit too open when Erich Otten came free, but Șerban Iacobeanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Șerban Iacobeanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Niclas Schöttel, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. FV Wienerwald made a substitution. Johann Szczepanowski replaced Joachim Wolf. After 63 played minutes Rasnita got a freekick which was hit by Dacian Doman. 64 minutes into the game, Tommi Braun recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Șerban Iacobeanu. Tommi Braun showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-6. Rasnita's Șerban Iacobeanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Rasnita from getting a goal against them. Daniel Trattnig charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniel Trattnig the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Daniel Trattnig hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Gavril Manea kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Tommi Braun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Șerban Iacobeanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Tommi Braun took a quick shot and it went in 1-7 without a chance for Șerban Iacobeanu to make any attempt to save it. Daniel Trattnig came free with the goalkeeper in the 81st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Șerban Iacobeanu could save by the left post. Rasnita's defense didn't have a chance, in the 83rd minute, when Tommi Braun scored to the left of an out of position Șerban Iacobeanu, making the score, 1-8. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FV Wienerwald walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
