Diego Valladares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paul Rainea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 4 played minutes Izaltina FAD got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldão Baiano. The long shot by Paul Rainea in the 5th minute really tested Diego Valladares's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. A collision led to Sporting Royal getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Isac Flamaropol hit a great ball. Izaltina FAD's Duda de Sousa couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 7th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Sporting Royal. Panait Emilianu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Osmar Donato went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Sporting Royal booed when Izaltina FAD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Nunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute Ernest Brănescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Valladares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 19 minutes, Diego Valladares successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Diego Valladares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernest Brănescu in the 20th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the game, Sporting Royal's Paul Rainea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Diego Valladares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 26 minutes into the match, Izaltina FAD's goal looked a bit too open when Paul Rainea came free, but Diego Valladares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diego Valladares was a little too slow when Iosif Prezan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 2-1. After some careless play in the Izaltina FAD defense, Ernest Brănescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Diego Valladares. The Izaltina FAD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Diego Valladares should have stopped the shot. Panait Emilianu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osmar Donato in the 36th minute of the match. In the 40th minute of the match, Paul Rainea tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Diego Valladares saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Diego Valladares was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ernest Brănescu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-1 in the 46 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Osmar Donato was the one to do the kick off. The Izaltina FAD fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when Izaltina FAD's Cristóvão Paranaense looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Sporting Royal made a substitution. Ernest Mihăileanu replaced Isac Flamaropol. Diego Valladares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paul Rainea in the 67th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Izaltina FAD's goal looked a bit too open when Ernest Brănescu came free, but Diego Valladares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 71 minutes into the game, Sporting Royal's Iosif Prezan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Diego Valladares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Paul Rainea put it in 6-2 from a short distance just to the right of Diego Valladares. 79 minutes into the match, Izaltina FAD's goal looked a bit too open when Iosif Prezan came free, but Diego Valladares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 81 minutes, Aníbal Vides mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Izaltina FAD and the Sporting Royal players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 81st match minute, Izaltina FAD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aníbal Vides to maneuver through the defense. Izaltina FAD's Leandro Alagoano was substituted for Duda de Sousa. Aníbal Vides hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Diego Valladares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paul Rainea in the 88th minute of play. Cristóvão Paranaense kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Diego Valladares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernest Brănescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. When Leandro Alagoano came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Izaltina FAD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leandro Alagoano couldn't finish the play. Izaltina FAD's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
