The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Iacob Armanca lost his temper 3 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Claretiano FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vincent Ibaute was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Damian Vieru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Claretiano FC's Vincent Ibaute got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Damian Vieru managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when Claretiano FC's Vincent Ibaute fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Emerald booed when Claretiano FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kaiet Rivera didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th match minute, Claretiano FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Confesor Hebia to maneuver through the defense. Mantzio Porlier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Guguianu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armando Urquiola kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Claretiano FC defense, Dragoş Sălcudeanu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mantzio Porlier. The Claretiano FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mantzio Porlier should have stopped the shot. Claretiano FC's Mantzio Porlier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dragoş Sălcudeanu in the 42nd minute of play. Mantzio Porlier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dragoş Sălcudeanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 43 minutes, Mugurel Tudose mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Emerald and the Claretiano FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Emerald's Mugurel Tudose got a free kick in the 43rd minute. 43 minutes into the match, Claretiano FC's Vincent Ibaute sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Damian Vieru narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dantae Prat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dantae Prat stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Caracakingo Ontova hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 55th minute of the match Costin Frânculescu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mantzio Porlier skillfully saved the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Emerald's goal looked a bit too open when Dantae Prat came free, but Damian Vieru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eusebiu Zăvoiu kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, Emerald's goal looked a bit too open when Hodei Espindola came free, but Damian Vieru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mantzio Porlier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cazimir Udubaşa in the 63rd minute of play. Mugurel Tudose hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Claretiano FC's Vincent Ibaute tried to score from far away in the 65th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Damian Vieru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vincent Ibaute in the 76th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dragoş Sălcudeanu in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mantzio Porlier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Damian Vieru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vincent Ibaute in the 79th minute of play. In the 79th match minute, Emerald was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Costin Frânculescu to maneuver through the defense. Mantzio Porlier was out of position in the 87 minute of play, and Cristian Guguianu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cristian Guguianu really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. 91 minutes into the match, Claretiano FC's goalkeeper Mantzio Porlier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Guguianu. Mantzio Porlier didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Emerald's Cristian Guguianu shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-3 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 95th minute Dantae Prat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damian Vieru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Claretiano FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Emerald's performance. The match ended with a win for Emerald.
