Spectators: 7687 (Terracing: 5766, Seating: 1768, VIP seats: 153) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cristian Guguianu kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the game, Emerald's Cristian Guguianu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Albertinho Mattos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 8 minutes into the match, Emerald's goalkeeper Damian Vieru had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Eduardo Leão. A collision led to Emerald getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Nichifor Onișoru hit a great ball. In the 9th minute, Dé Mangueira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sorin Jitaru kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the game, Dé Mangueira lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Damian Vieru. When Gualter Secco came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Raining Blood fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gualter Secco couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Eduardo Leão in the 15th minute of play forced Emerald's goalkeeper Damian Vieru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damian Vieru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waldir Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 21st minute, Luís Eduardo Leão left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Raining Blood fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The supporters of Emerald booed when Raining Blood was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Birol Biron didn't get a good kick on the ball. Damian Vieru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Eduardo Leão, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After a rather tough play, Raining Blood's Matheus Mesquita got a free kick in the 35th minute. Damian Vieru was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Luís Eduardo Leão showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 40 minute of play. Luís Eduardo Leão received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Damian Vieru came out and tried to block the shot, but Luís Eduardo Leão slotted it home off the left post making it 4-1 in the 43rd minute. With 47 minutes on the clock, Birol Biron commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 47 played minutes Raining Blood got a freekick which was hit by Birol Biron. If Sorin Jitaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís Eduardo Leão in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Damian Vieru prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 67 minutes into the game, Luís Eduardo Leão was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Raining Blood's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Emerald the free kick. After 67 played minutes Raining Blood got a freekick which was hit by Luís Eduardo Leão. Raining Blood's Remo Magalhães was substituted for Matheus Mesquita. Raining Blood's Gil Figueiredo was substituted for Luís Eduardo Leão. Raining Blood's Laércio Capixaba was substituted for Enrique Pombal. A collision led to Raining Blood getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Luís Eduardo Leão hit a great ball. Albertinho Mattos was a little too slow when Costin Frânculescu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 4-2. Albertinho Mattos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nichifor Onișoru in the 78th minute of play. Damian Vieru didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gil Figueiredo went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score. In the 87th minute, Remo Magalhães left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Raining Blood fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-2. A collision led to Raining Blood getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Dé Mangueira hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 97 minutes, Costin Frânculescu took a quick shot and it went in 6-3 without a chance for Albertinho Mattos to make any attempt to save it. Raining Blood's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
