With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gelu Tăzlăuanu in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Albertinho Mattos saved Raining Blood from getting behind. Marcel Andrade kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Birol Biron hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Albertinho Mattos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gelu Tăzlăuanu in the 11th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Gualter Secco made a precise shot to the right of Gigel Bobeica. Rasnita's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 20 minutes into the match, Raining Blood's goal looked a bit too open when Dacian Doman came free, but Albertinho Mattos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 23 played minutes Rasnita got a freekick which was hit by Pavel Alucusan. When Luís Eduardo Leão fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Raining Blood's protests and gave Luís Eduardo Leão a yellow card for diving instead. After 26 played minutes Raining Blood got a freekick which was hit by Luís Eduardo Leão. In the 27th match minute, Rasnita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelian Siadbei to maneuver through the defense. Dacian Doman kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luís Eduardo Leão got free with Gigel Bobeica in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Rasnita's Eusebiu Drăgan got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Gigel Bobeica made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Gualter Secco sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Raining Blood booed when Rasnita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonard Chirculescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dé Mangueira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dacian Doman charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dacian Doman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Gualter Secco made the kick off in the second half. Albertinho Mattos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leonard Chirculescu in the 51st minute. Gigel Bobeica took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gualter Secco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gelu Tăzlăuanu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Albertinho Mattos came out and tried to block the shot, but Gelu Tăzlăuanu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 56th minute. Raining Blood's Gil Figueiredo was substituted for Luís Eduardo Leão. Raining Blood's Laércio Capixaba was substituted for Enrique Pombal. Rasnita's Gigel Bobeica played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gil Figueiredo in the 64th minute of play. After some careless play in the Rasnita defense, Gualter Secco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gigel Bobeica. The Rasnita fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gigel Bobeica should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Raining Blood's Gualter Secco got a free kick in the 71st minute. 74 minutes into the match, Rasnita's Emanuel Feraru sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Albertinho Mattos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gelu Tăzlăuanu hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. 84 minutes into the match, Raining Blood's goal looked a bit too open when Gelu Tăzlăuanu came free, but Albertinho Mattos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 90 played minutes Rasnita got a freekick which was hit by Mugur Braru. 90 minutes into the match, Raining Blood's Waldir Santos broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 94 minutes into the game, Emanuel Feraru cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Albertinho Mattos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
