Petru Popan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcel Noica didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paul Rainea went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Fc S.Zaharesti's Marcel Noica played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paul Rainea in the 14th minute of play. After 18 played minutes Sporting Royal got a freekick which was hit by Gigi Bîlbă. In the 20th minute, Ernest Brănescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sporting Royal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After the first half Sporting Royal were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

With his leg Marcel Noica managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Sporting Royal's Iosif Prezan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Fc S.Zaharesti's Marcel Noica proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Fc S.Zaharesti from getting a goal against them. Marcel Noica made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5.
