Spectators: 7686 (Terracing: 5765, Seating: 1768, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Napoleon Biskupiak started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Emerald booed when Wariatów Kupa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artur Kosmatka didn't get a good kick on the ball. 5 minutes into the game, Cristian Guguianu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Teofil Pietrowski. Cristian Guguianu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Napoleon Biskupiak in the 12th minute of play forced Emerald's goalkeeper Damian Vieru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teofil Pietrowski made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Cristian Guguianu sent off a good shot on target. Emerald's Damian Vieru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zygmunt Mierzwa in the 18th minute of play. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Nichifor Onișoru sped through Wariatów Kupa's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Teofil Pietrowski. 27 minutes into the game, Cristian Guguianu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Teofil Pietrowski. Cristian Guguianu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. If Nichifor Onișoru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Napoleon Biskupiak's late challenge caught a Emerald's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Napoleon Biskupiak helped the player get up and apologised. In the 39th minute, Napoleon Biskupiak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teofil Pietrowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dragoş Sălcudeanu in the 40th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristian Guguianu to strike the kick off in the second half. Teofil Pietrowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Guguianu, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Jurand Marosz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Damian Vieru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Emerald getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Costin Frânculescu hit a great ball. 66 minutes into the match, Wariatów Kupa's goal looked a bit too open when Dragoş Sălcudeanu came free, but Teofil Pietrowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute, Cristian Guguianu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Emerald fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Zygmunt Mierzwa struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Damian Vieru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wariatów Kupa. In the 94th minute, Viorel Lungu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
