But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardinho Arantes couldn't finish the play. 39 minutes into the match, Izaltina FAD's goal looked a bit too open when Ilie Tolea came free, but Diego Valladares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Petru Popan charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mădălin Vintilescu to strike the kick off in the second half. Fc S.Zaharesti's Matei Ciocoiu got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Diego Valladares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mădălin Vintilescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Izaltina FAD's Marcel Noica threw himself towards the right post 74 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ricardo Pires, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 82 played minutes Fc S.Zaharesti got a freekick which was hit by Viorel Lelescu. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
