Sven-Olof Zander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nico Love, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Ted Hansson's late challenge caught a Limoeiro-PE FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ted Hansson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 5th minute, Ted Hansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Limoeiro-PE FC's Nico Love got a free kick in the 7th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ademar Matorin in the 10th minute of play forced Lilla Jordberga BK's goalkeeper Sven-Olof Zander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Brito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christopher Örn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Durval Cavalcante hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute, one of Limoeiro-PE FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Limoeiro-PE FC. In the 17th minute there was a penalty for Lilla Jordberga BK. Michael Dubois stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Cristian Brito. 0-1. Lilla Jordberga BK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 20th minute, when Ademar Matorin scored to the left of an out of position Sven-Olof Zander, making the score, 1-1. 23 minutes into the match, Lilla Jordberga BK's goalkeeper Sven-Olof Zander had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lino Maestro. After 24 played minutes Lilla Jordberga BK got a freekick which was hit by Åke Wallmark. Sven-Olof Zander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ademar Matorin in the 26th minute of the match. After having played for 33 minutes, Ted Hansson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lilla Jordberga BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ted Hansson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lino Maestro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 41st minute Nico Love shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Olof Zander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Michael Dubois blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristian Brito having to make a save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ted Hansson to strike the kick off in the second half. Cristian Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Håkan Joensson in the 67th minute of the match. Nico Love hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Limoeiro-PE FC's Nico Love got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Ted Hansson succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 75th playminute. 78 minutes into the match, Limoeiro-PE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Christopher Örn came free, but Cristian Brito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Limoeiro-PE FC's Durval Cavalcante got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 84th minute, Pär Abrahamsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sven-Olof Zander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ademar Matorin in the 88th minute of play. Åke Wallmark hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. 97 minutes into the match, Nico Love notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Lilla Jordberga BK's Sven-Olof Zander. Sven-Olof Zander was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. For all the effort they put into the match, the Lilla Jordberga BK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Limoeiro-PE FC.
