Limoeiro-PE FC's Nico Love got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jeferson Vergílio charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jeferson Vergílio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 20th minute, Jeferson Vergílio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Godofredo Unax fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Floresta Manda's protests and gave Godofredo Unax a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Limoeiro-PE FC booed when Club Floresta Manda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godofredo Unax didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nico Love scored 0-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Camilo Urrutia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Timoteo Aritza got free with Cristian Brito in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Limoeiro-PE FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Serafim Tasso hit a great ball. Guaberto Lixandro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Brito having to interfere. 40 minutes into the match, Limoeiro-PE FC's goalkeeper Cristian Brito had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isaias Nabar. In the 48th play minute Timoteo Aritza came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Cristian Brito. 1-1.

The wind increased when Lino Maestro made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Elvio Montay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Floresta Manda's supporters rose to their feet, but Elvio Montay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristian Brito breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 60th match minute, Limoeiro-PE FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Durval Cavalcante to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Ademar Matorin could shoot a difficult shot in the 64th minute, which Camilo Urrutia however easily saved by the left post. Cristian Brito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timoteo Aritza, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guaberto Lixandro in the 71st minute of play forced Limoeiro-PE FC's goalkeeper Cristian Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Guaberto Lixandro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Camilo Urrutia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lino Maestro in the 96th minute. Limoeiro-PE FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
