Allan Ånger was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nico Love showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 16 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ademar Matorin in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Allan Ånger saved Lost Boys Sports Academy from getting behind. Edgar Lundin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristian Brito read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. In the 39th minute of the match Lost Boys Sports Academy got a corner. Limoeiro-PE FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Thomas Stigsson ran over to the corner to take the kick. 41 minutes into the game, Lost Boys Sports Academy's Edgar Lundin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cristian Brito made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. When Conny Lindblom fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lost Boys Sports Academy's protests and gave Conny Lindblom a yellow card for diving instead. In the 43rd minute, Conny Lindblom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Brito stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edgar Lundin's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Lost Boys Sports Academy's Edgar Lundin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristian Brito narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 80 minutes into the game, Durval Cavalcante was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
