Spectators: 7730 (Terracing: 5799, Seating: 1777, VIP seats: 154) Cordarrol Tama made the kick off and thus started the match. Club Olimpia's Santutxo Casquete shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 4th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Eric Frântu but with some difficulty. FC Steaua Pildesti's Eric Frântu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cordarrol Tama in the 6th minute of play. After 10 played minutes Club Olimpia got a freekick which was hit by Santutxo Casquete. Cornel Rogozea took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Toli Buron. Club Olimpia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 12th minute, Adam Buș made a precise shot to the right of Toli Buron. Club Olimpia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Santana Bidania charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Santana Bidania the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of FC Steaua Pildesti booed when Club Olimpia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santana Bidania didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Santutxo Casquete fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Olimpia's protests and gave Santutxo Casquete a yellow card for diving instead. Santutxo Casquete kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Octav Mergea managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Steaua Pildesti's supporters rose to their feet, but Octav Mergea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Toli Buron breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Santana Bidania kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Octav Mergea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Toli Buron was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, FC Steaua Pildesti's Valentin Rareș got a free kick in the 24th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niva Azpiazu in the 26th minute of play forced FC Steaua Pildesti's goalkeeper Eric Frântu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Toli Buron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gheorghe Vlăsiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Santana Bidania kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Octav Mergea notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Club Olimpia's Toli Buron. Toli Buron was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 36 minutes into the match, FC Steaua Pildesti's goalkeeper Eric Frântu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cibran Anduiza. After 39 played minutes Club Olimpia got a freekick which was hit by Niva Azpiazu. Toli Buron took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gheorghe Vlăsiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Toli Buron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gheorghe Vlăsiu in the 44th minute of play. Adam Buș received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Toli Buron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After 53 played minutes Club Olimpia got a freekick which was hit by Bartoleme Valderrama. Cornel Rogozea hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After 58 minutes of play Club Olimpia's Santutxo Casquete was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Club Olimpia getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Santutxo Casquete hit a great ball. Toli Buron came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by FC Steaua Pildesti's Adam Buș. But to his dismay, Adam Buș quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 67th minute, Niva Azpiazu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute of the match Ştefan Dinculescu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Toli Buron skillfully saved the ball. In the 70th minute of the match Eutor Dosal shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eric Frântu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 77 minutes into the game, when Perico Porregimon put in a rough tackle. Adam Buș shot the penalty kick right outside the post. After 84 minutes, Eutor Dosal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Olimpia and the FC Steaua Pildesti players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Club Olimpia's Eutor Dosal got a free kick in the 84th minute. Valentin Rareș's late challenge caught a Club Olimpia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valentin Rareș helped the player get up and apologised. Eutor Dosal took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eric Frântu. FC Steaua Pildesti's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Club Olimpia booed when FC Steaua Pildesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cătălin Encuțu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd match minute, Club Olimpia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santana Bidania to maneuver through the defense. FC Steaua Pildesti played a much better game than Club Olimpia and deserved their victory. The Club Olimpia players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
