In the 12th minute, Edvaldo dos Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Fernando Martins fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Motta Futebol Clube's protests and gave Fernando Martins a yellow card for diving instead. After 13 played minutes Motta Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Martins. Romulo Magdaleno made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Fernando Martins sent off a good shot on target. 19 minutes into the match, Racing Club【LBF】's goal looked a bit too open when Edvaldo dos Santos came free, but Romulo Magdaleno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Fernando Martins managed to get in a good position for a shot. Motta Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernando Martins was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romulo Magdaleno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 27 minutes into the match, Racing Club【LBF】's goalkeeper Romulo Magdaleno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edvaldo dos Santos. 28 minutes into the game, Motta Futebol Clube's Edvaldo dos Santos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Romulo Magdaleno came out of the goal and Marcinho Tasso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Romulo Magdaleno had great luck who in the 37thth minute grab hold of the ball when Edvaldo dos Santos from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. When Edvaldo dos Santos came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Motta Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edvaldo dos Santos couldn't finish the play. In the 41st minute Eriberto Cordario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otávio Galvão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Racing Club【LBF】's Eriberto Cordario in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Motta Futebol Clube were victorious despite being under pressure from Racing Club【LBF】 for much of the match.
