If Raimo Öösalu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 5th minute Costel Dorineanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hando Vilo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Tykhela FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Raimo Öösalu hit a great ball. Hando Vilo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costel Dorineanu in the 10th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Raimo Öösalu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gheorghe Vărzaru, 1-0. A collision led to Tykhela FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Meelis Kangro hit a great ball. In the 19th minute, Alan Nurk made a precise shot to the right of Gheorghe Vărzaru. FC Buzău's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 22 minutes into the game, Costel Dorineanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Buzău's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tykhela FC the free kick. The supporters of Tykhela FC booed when FC Buzău was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Costel Dorineanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 25 minutes, Gavril Groza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Buzău and the Tykhela FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gavril Groza hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Irinel Ivașcu kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Leonard Dabija hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Narcis Săndulescu took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hando Vilo. Hando Vilo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Silver Taaler hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Hando Vilo came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Buzău's Horea Ştati. But to his dismay, Horea Ştati quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

The Tykhela FC fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when Tykhela FC's Meelis Kangro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 56 minutes into the game, Meelis Kangro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tykhela FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Buzău the free kick. Gheorghe Vărzaru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimo Öösalu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the match, Meelis Kangro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gheorghe Vărzaru. FC Buzău's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Meelis Kangro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. 79 minutes into the game, Tykhela FC's Meelis Kangro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gheorghe Vărzaru made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-3. Valer Gârdan was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 87 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute, Valer Gârdan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th minute Gabriel Noormägi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gheorghe Vărzaru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
