In the 39th minute Lauro Borges shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rudy Panhuijsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the game, Lauro Borges cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christian Meys stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to CRISDIELDAN getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Perivaldo Arantes hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Christian Meys managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brugge United's supporters rose to their feet, but Christian Meys was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Magno Fonseca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 62 minutes into the match, CRISDIELDAN's goal looked a bit too open when Lennert Van Meerbeec came free, but Magno Fonseca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lauro Borges succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 67th playminute. 76 minutes into the game, Nilson Severo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rudy Panhuijsen. Nilson Severo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Rudy Panhuijsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lauro Borges in the 92nd minute of play. After 93 played minutes CRISDIELDAN got a freekick which was hit by Perivaldo Arantes.
