Spectators: 7655 (Terracing: 5743, Seating: 1760, VIP seats: 152) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Christian Meys started the match with the kick off. Rudy Panhuijsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricart Miruena in the 4th minute of the match. Gianluigi Palet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lennert Van Meerbeec, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the match, Brugge United's goal looked a bit too open when Ricart Miruena came free, but Rudy Panhuijsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christian Meys fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gianluigi Palet having to interfere. Gianluigi Palet made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christian Meys in the 26th minute. Osoitz Lombillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Flavio Carcamo kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Gianluigi Palet didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jochen Diericx went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 42nd minute, Bide Bizoso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Todos al Fondo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 46th match minute, Todos al Fondo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niolaao Quejo to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Todos al Fondo were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Osoitz Lombillo in the 52nd minute of play forced Brugge United's goalkeeper Rudy Panhuijsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Todos al Fondo's goal looked a bit too open when Arnold Wyns came free, but Gianluigi Palet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th match minute, Todos al Fondo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricart Miruena to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Todos al Fondo booed when Brugge United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Sevenans didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gianluigi Palet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jochen Diericx, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 73rd minute, Naike Caborredondo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th match minute, Brugge United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jochen Diericx to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Brugge United defense, Ricart Miruena kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rudy Panhuijsen. The Brugge United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rudy Panhuijsen should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Brugge United booed when Todos al Fondo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavio Carcamo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dries Dirckx took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 83rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gianluigi Palet. Todos al Fondo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Brugge United. After 94 played minutes Todos al Fondo got a freekick which was hit by Galeno Arcaute. Gianluigi Palet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jochen Diericx, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. The Todos al Fondo players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
