PAIDAGOGOS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brugge United the free kick. After a rather tough play, PAIDAGOGOS's Ulryk Lerych got a free kick in the 10th minute. 15 minutes into the game, Rob Lode lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Rudy Panhuijsen. Rob Lode blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rudy Panhuijsen having to make a save. Camiel Hennes kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Rudy Panhuijsen came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by PAIDAGOGOS's Rob Lode. But to his dismay, Rob Lode quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Arnold Wyns received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Tobiasz Zacharzewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to PAIDAGOGOS getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Ziemowit Karwowski hit a great ball. Dries Dirckx might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tobiasz Zacharzewski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dries Dirckx ran back to his position shaking his head. 28 minutes into the match, PAIDAGOGOS's goal looked a bit too open when Arnold Wyns came free, but Tobiasz Zacharzewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patryk Spychalski's late challenge caught a Brugge United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patryk Spychalski helped the player get up and apologised. Patryk Spychalski hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 40th match minute, Brugge United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jochen Diericx to maneuver through the defense. PAIDAGOGOS were furious when Jem Kapusta was red carded, 43 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in PAIDAGOGOS fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 42nd minute. Penalty! Lennert Van Meerbeec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Jochen Diericx made the kick off in the second half. Brugge United were furious when Nicolaas Deschrijver was red carded, 53 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Rudy Panhuijsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kazimierz Debowy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rob Lode's late challenge caught a Brugge United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rob Lode helped the player get up and apologised. After 70 played minutes PAIDAGOGOS got a freekick which was hit by Rob Lode. Arnold Wyns was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 75th minute. Brugge United's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Lennert Van Meerbeec could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Tobiasz Zacharzewski made a huge save. In the 77th match minute, PAIDAGOGOS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Cielencki to maneuver through the defense. Tobiasz Zacharzewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lennert Van Meerbeec in the 82nd minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Kazimierz Debowy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PAIDAGOGOS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Kazimierz Debowy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rob Lode in the 93rd minute of play forced Brugge United's goalkeeper Rudy Panhuijsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Lennert Van Meerbeec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. PAIDAGOGOS walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
