Vila Industrial FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kalessin the free kick. In the 8th minute, one of Vila Industrial FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Vila Industrial FC. Fermin Sauveur came free with the goalkeeper in the 13th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Chiquinho Porto could save by the left post. After 16 minutes of play, Vila Industrial FC's Abel Garcia made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Samuel Jordy was left in no man's land by his defense there! Matías Botelho struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Samuel Jordy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vila Industrial FC. In the 23rd minute, Róbson Bittencourt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Samuel Jordy was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Chiquinho Porto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fermin Sauveur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tiaguinho Cunha charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tiaguinho Cunha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Vila Industrial FC's Chiquinho Porto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian-Alberto Arozamena in the 35th minute of play. In the 35th minute Fermin Sauveur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chiquinho Porto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fermin Sauveur who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Chiquinho Porto when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The Kalessin players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Vila Industrial FC were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Róbson Bittencourt was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian-Alberto Arozamena in the 54th minute of play forced Vila Industrial FC's goalkeeper Chiquinho Porto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hilario Dalmai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Chiquinho Porto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Fermin Sauveur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chiquinho Porto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian-Alberto Arozamena, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 72nd minute of the match Adrian-Alberto Arozamena sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Chiquinho Porto skillfully saved the ball. In the 74th minute, Matías Botelho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 75 minutes, Samuel Jordy successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Thiago Torres charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Thiago Torres the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 79 played minutes Vila Industrial FC got a freekick which was hit by Thiago Torres. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 82nd minute of the game. One of Vila Industrial FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Kalessin:s goal. In the 97th minute, Abel Garcia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
