After a rather tough play, FC Kurdish Warriors's Sven-Erik Örn got a free kick in the 17th minute. Tostão de Amaral kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. SANTOS F.C's Wilson Travassos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save SANTOS F.C from getting a goal against them. In the 32nd minute, SANTOS F.C's Enrique Reis seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Enrique Reis the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of SANTOS F.C protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Enrique Reis had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The audience thought a goal was coming when Henrik Tinglöf got free with Wilson Travassos in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Folke Alebäck to make the kick off. But to his dismay, Bertil Byström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Folke Alebäck took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilson Travassos. Wilson Travassos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Folke Alebäck in the 72nd minute of play forced SANTOS F.C's goalkeeper Wilson Travassos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilson Travassos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kjell Deckberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Wilson Travassos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Folke Alebäck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kléberson de Moraes kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Wilson Travassos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Folke Alebäck in the 79th minute of the match. Sivert Tinglöf hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. SANTOS F.C's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
