Wilson Travassos acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 5th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Filip Arctander. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bertel Hatland got free with Wilson Travassos in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the SANTOS F.C defense, Jan-Kenneth Øglænd kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilson Travassos. The SANTOS F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilson Travassos should have stopped the shot. 12 minutes into the game, Albert Bergerud cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Wilson Travassos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Wilson Travassos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kristen Sollien, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wilson Travassos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Albert Bergerud in the 20th minute. Wilson Travassos came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Pladask's Kristen Sollien. But to his dismay, Kristen Sollien quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 26 minutes into the game, Albert Bergerud recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Wilson Travassos. Albert Bergerud showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. A collision led to SANTOS F.C getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Luís Gustavo Vasconcelos hit a great ball. Wilson Travassos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kristen Sollien, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute, Kristen Sollien hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Pladask's goalkeeper Bjørn Engelund, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. SANTOS F.C's Wilson Travassos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristen Sollien in the 40th minute of play. Wilson Travassos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kristen Sollien, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Wilson Travassos was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jan-Kenneth Øglænd showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 46 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kristen Sollien to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Kristen Sollien had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilson Travassos. SANTOS F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kristen Sollien was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. After 56 played minutes SANTOS F.C got a freekick which was hit by Luís Gustavo Vasconcelos. Jan-Kenneth Øglænd, 56 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Wilson Travassos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albert Bergerud in the 58th minute of play. Wilson Travassos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan-Kenneth Øglænd in the 60th minute of the match. Wilson Travassos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kristen Sollien, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th minute, one of FC Pladask:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Pladask. Benjamin Quirino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th minute, Filip Arctander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Pladask's Bjørn Engelund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Breno Nóbrega in the 72nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristen Sollien in the 75th minute of play forced SANTOS F.C's goalkeeper Wilson Travassos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan-Kenneth Øglænd's late challenge caught a SANTOS F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jan-Kenneth Øglænd helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of SANTOS F.C booed when FC Pladask was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan-Kenneth Øglænd didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benjamin Quirino struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Bjørn Engelund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SANTOS F.C. After 83 played minutes FC Pladask got a freekick which was hit by Kai Sommervold. Artur Travassos hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 89th match minute, SANTOS F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Gustavo Vasconcelos to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute Kristen Sollien shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Travassos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Pladask's Kristen Sollien got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC Pladask walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
