The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Demircan Canberk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Wilson Travassos made a huge save. Tostão de Amaral scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lütfi Enginalp, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 8th match minute, SANTOS F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Quirino to maneuver through the defense. 9 minutes into the match, SANTOS F.C's goalkeeper Wilson Travassos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nazmi Yazıcı. İlkan Yaldırak hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Lütfi Enginalp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Almir Schmidt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute Breno Nóbrega shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lütfi Enginalp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th match minute, SAFRANBOLU ⚜️ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erhun Türkeş to maneuver through the defense. 26 minutes into the match, SAFRANBOLU ⚜️'s goal looked a bit too open when Kléberson de Moraes came free, but Lütfi Enginalp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lütfi Enginalp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kléberson de Moraes in the 30th minute of play. Kléberson de Moraes took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lütfi Enginalp. Lütfi Enginalp dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After 38 minutes of play, SANTOS F.C's Kléberson de Moraes made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lütfi Enginalp was left in no man's land by his defense there! 47 minutes into the game, Tostão de Amaral was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SANTOS F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SAFRANBOLU ⚜️ the free kick. The supporters of SAFRANBOLU ⚜️ booed when SANTOS F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tostão de Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Demircan Canberk stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Kléberson de Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lütfi Enginalp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th minute, SANTOS F.C's Tostão de Amaral ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lütfi Enginalp. Lütfi Enginalp yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nazmi Yazıcı in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilson Travassos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lütfi Enginalp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Breno Nóbrega, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 77 minutes into the match, Tostão de Amaral dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lütfi Enginalp, 0-6. In the 82nd minute, Kléberson de Moraes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85thth minute of the game Demircan Canberk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SANTOS F.C's Wilson Travassos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tostão de Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lütfi Enginalp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kléberson de Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. After a rather tough play, SANTOS F.C's Benjamin Quirino got a free kick in the 91st minute. Nazmi Yazıcı charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nazmi Yazıcı the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 93 played minutes SAFRANBOLU ⚜️ got a freekick which was hit by Nazmi Yazıcı. Wilson Travassos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Demircan Canberk in the 97th minute of the match. SANTOS F.C's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
