Cristian Quinto started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Barsa FC's Segundo Clis got a free kick in the 3rd minute. A collision led to Curumalán AFC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Isaias Baudelio hit a great ball. The supporters of Barsa FC booed when Curumalán AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santo Astrada didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zeledon Marin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Candido Cloyo charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Candido Cloyo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Candido Cloyo hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After 20 minutes Barsa FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Constantino Jakue who took care of the corner kick. Curumalán AFC's Constantino Jakue was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Federico Pinto in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Hipolito Serafo kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Barsa FC's Gonzalo Cresenciano got a free kick in the 28th minute. If Cristian Quinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santo Astrada kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 39th minute, Zeledon Marin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Geronimo Gabrio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Geronimo Gabrio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Segundo Clis in the 43rd minute of play. The Curumalán AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Barsa FC were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Isidoro Barto made the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Isidoro Barto took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Geronimo Gabrio to make any attempt to save it. Justo Roldanillo's late challenge caught a Barsa FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Justo Roldanillo helped the player get up and apologised. Justo Roldanillo kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After 66 played minutes Barsa FC got a freekick which was hit by Feliberto Montrel. After 78 minutes, Isaias Baudelio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Curumalán AFC and the Barsa FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Curumalán AFC's Isaias Baudelio got a free kick in the 78th minute. Zeledon Marin was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 81st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Hipolito Serafo kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Isidoro Barto took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Geronimo Gabrio to make any attempt to save it. Barsa FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
