A collision led to Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Lauro Paraense hit a great ball. When Marcelo Alagoano came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Villa Verde FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcelo Alagoano couldn't finish the play. Marcus Nóbrega took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ramón Bertassi. Ramón Bertassi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Gil Peres scored 2-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Igor Camargo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Antônio Carlos Madureira's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 36thth minute, Ramón Bertassi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A collision led to Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Josué Aguiar hit a great ball. After 41 played minutes, Villa Verde FC's Marcelo Alagoano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ramón Bertassi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Villa Verde FC reached it. Igor Camargo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josué Aguiar, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Ramón Bertassi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Fernando Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Afonso Baiano to make the kick off. Afonso Baiano took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ramón Bertassi. Ramón Bertassi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. In the 65th minute Luís Fernando Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramón Bertassi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Villa Verde FC's Willian Vergílio got a free kick in the 74th minute. Joel Ramos kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Ramón Bertassi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonso Baiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edmílson Senna charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edmílson Senna the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 84 played minutes Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Edmílson Senna. In the 85th minute of the match Marcelo Alagoano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ramón Bertassi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ defense, Afonso Baiano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ramón Bertassi. The Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ramón Bertassi should have stopped the shot. After 89 played minutes Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Fernandão Garcia. 90 minutes into the game, Villa Verde FC's Luís Fernando Barros nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ramón Bertassi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. 93 minutes into the match, Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Fernando Barros came free, but Ramón Bertassi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's Edmílson Senna got his second yellow card of the match in the 94th minute. The referee ordered Edmílson Senna off the ground. Edmílson Senna kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Villa Verde FC.
