In the 9th minute of the match Kaineus Georgousopoulos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elano Toledo skillfully saved the ball. 11 minutes into the game, Odysseas Rousses cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Elano Toledo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 18th minute Manuel Vianna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hector Volakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elano Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charalambos Christou in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th match minute, PIRATAS TFP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Vianna to maneuver through the defense. 23 minutes into the match, Unione Sportiva's goalkeeper Hector Volakis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manuel Vianna. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alexandre da Cunha in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hector Volakis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alexandre da Cunha did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Hector Volakis 23 minutes into the match. 25 minutes into the match, PIRATAS TFP's goal looked a bit too open when Charalambos Christou came free, but Elano Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Unione Sportiva's Hector Volakis got control of the ball when Alexandre da Cunha tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alexandre da Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 33rd minute of the match, Alexandre da Cunha tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hector Volakis saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of PIRATAS TFP booed when Unione Sportiva was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Babbis Varvitsiotes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute of the match, João Vítor de Medeiros tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hector Volakis saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Fabrício Cruz kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After some careless play in the PIRATAS TFP defense, Charalambos Christou kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elano Toledo. The PIRATAS TFP fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elano Toledo should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alexandre da Cunha to strike the kick off in the second half. Hector Volakis came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by PIRATAS TFP's João Vítor de Medeiros. But to his dismay, João Vítor de Medeiros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Hector Volakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Vianna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the match, PIRATAS TFP's goal looked a bit too open when Charalambos Christou came free, but Elano Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 62 minutes, Elano Toledo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Odysseas Rousses could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Elano Toledo made a huge save. In the 67th minute, Unione Sportiva's Alkeides Touchakis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. With a little luck, PIRATAS TFP's Elano Toledo got control of the ball when Odysseas Rousses tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Thanos Fotopoulos got free in front of the goal in the 71st minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Elano Toledo was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After 72 minutes, Waldemar Maranhense mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PIRATAS TFP and the Unione Sportiva players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 74th minute Thanos Fotopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elano Toledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 81 minutes of play, PIRATAS TFP's Manuel Vianna made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hector Volakis was left in no man's land by his defense there! With an all-out effort, Unione Sportiva's Elano Toledo threw himself towards the right post 88 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Charalambos Christou, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 90 minutes into the match, Unione Sportiva's goal looked a bit too open when João Vítor de Medeiros came free, but Hector Volakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Flávio Tinoco during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Flávio Tinoco hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Elano Toledo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Lykaon Mehalitsenos. 93 minutes into the match, Unione Sportiva's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Vianna came free, but Hector Volakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
