The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jean-Yves Échard to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Emanuele Curti kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Christian Pradelles. That made the score 0-2 in the 55 minute of play. Maxence Lefranc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabiano Ciraci having to interfere.
