The tension between the Tours Football Club and the Leicester Lions players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 4th match minute, Tours Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noa Ranger to maneuver through the defense. Beinn Medley charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Simon Slater showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean-Yves Échard in the 10th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean-Yves Échard in the 12th minute of play forced Leicester Lions's goalkeeper Simon Slater to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 15 minutes, Ashley Hamilton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leicester Lions's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ashley Hamilton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 16 minutes into the game, Nathan Leyburn recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Christian Pradelles. The referee ignored Tours Football Club's protests and gave Bruno Carli a yellow card for diving instead. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Nathan Leyburn took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Christian Pradelles to make any attempt to save it. Christian Pradelles made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Allan Bramble fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Pradelles having to interfere. 39 minutes into the game, Warren Hardcastle was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Leicester Lions's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tours Football Club the free kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

In the 51st minute, Ashley Hamilton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Simon Slater was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jean-Yves Échard showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 52 minute of play. When Jean-Yves Échard came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Tours Football Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jean-Yves Échard couldn't finish the play. In the 63rd minute, Max Wills ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Christian Pradelles was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. 70 minutes into the match, Bruno Carli dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Simon Slater, 4-2. Christian Pradelles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rod Reading, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute.
