After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Elias Mouton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tours Football Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Elias Mouton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Igor Camargo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 9th minute, Bruno Carli made a precise shot to the right of Igor Camargo. Villa Verde FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Christian Pradelles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso Baiano in the 15th minute of the match. Christian Pradelles acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 20th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Marcelo Alagoano. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elias Mouton in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Igor Camargo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Christian Pradelles was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Willian Vergílio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 43 minute of play. Villa Verde FC's Luís Fernando Barros got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Jean-Yves Échard made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Villa Verde FC's goal looked a bit too open when Elias Mouton came free, but Igor Camargo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jean-Yves Échard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jean-Yves Échard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
