Wilfried Denys might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cengizhan Akgüngör. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wilfried Denys ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Carli in the 19th minute of play forced Osmanlı İmparatorluğu's goalkeeper Cengizhan Akgüngör to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the game, Joachim Migne was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tours Football Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Osmanlı İmparatorluğu the free kick. In the 21st minute, Joachim Migne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Aybek Laçin came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Osmanlı İmparatorluğu fans jumped to their feet. Osmanlı İmparatorluğu's Cengizhan Akgüngör played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfried Denys in the 27th minute of play. Christian Pradelles stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aybek Laçin's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. After 41 played minutes Tours Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Elias Mouton. The supporters of Osmanlı İmparatorluğu booed when Tours Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joachim Migne didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abdulkerim Necmi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 46th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Christian Pradelles. Tours Football Club's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 63rd minute Jean-Yves Échard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cengizhan Akgüngör saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Elias Mouton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yüksel Mukaddes hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute Jean-Yves Échard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cengizhan Akgüngör saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Osmanlı İmparatorluğu's Yüksel Mukaddes got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Cengizhan Akgüngör took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilfried Denys, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Tours Football Club getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Stanislas Lanfranchi hit a great ball. With a little luck, Tours Football Club's Christian Pradelles got control of the ball when Aybek Laçin tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 88 minutes of play Osmanlı İmparatorluğu's Hazım Başer was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 89 played minutes Osmanlı İmparatorluğu got a freekick which was hit by Hazım Başer. Tours Football Club's Christian Pradelles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Tours Football Club from getting a goal against them. In the 95th minute, Elias Mouton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Osmanlı İmparatorluğu eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
