Odysseas Rousses ran back to his position shaking his head. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
Başaran Nusrettin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thanos Fotopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. If Alkeides Touchakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanos Fotopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55th minute, Abdulkerim Necmi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 57 minutes, Odysseas Rousses managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alkeides Touchakis took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Başaran Nusrettin. Başaran Nusrettin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. In the 70th minute, Yüksel Mukaddes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hector Volakis. The goal made the score 3-2. Charalambos Christou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Başaran Nusrettin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute Yüksel Mukaddes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hector Volakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aybek Laçin hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. When Unione Sportiva's Thanos Fotopoulos in 85 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Başaran Nusrettin guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Antonis Samios managed to get in a good position for a shot. Unione Sportiva's supporters rose to their feet, but Antonis Samios was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Başaran Nusrettin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Unione Sportiva were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
