Gelu Galușcă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Segio in the 3rd minute of the match. Gelu Galușcă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Eleazar in the 7th minute of play. DINAMO PLOIESTI's Gelu Galușcă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denis Segio in the 8th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, DINAMO PLOIESTI's goal looked a bit too open when Denis Segio came free, but Gelu Galușcă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as DINAMO PLOIESTI's Iacob Pârlea slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fernado Lima. That made the score 1-0 after 32 minutes of play. Sebastian Pană fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernado Lima having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Cosmin Birișu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Valeriu Goma made the kick off in the second half. Gelu Galușcă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto Sotil, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 61st match minute, Pegale De Puntín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ambrosio Fagildo to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute of the match Gică Vulcan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fernado Lima skillfully saved the ball. In the 70th minute, Narcis Manolescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, DINAMO PLOIESTI's Gelu Galușcă got control of the ball when Jacinto Sotil tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Xabier in the 78th minute of play forced DINAMO PLOIESTI's goalkeeper Gelu Galușcă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Alberto Xabier fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pegale De Puntín's protests and gave Alberto Xabier a yellow card for diving instead. After 80 played minutes Pegale De Puntín got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Xabier. Alberto Xabier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pegale De Puntín's Fernado Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Pană in the 87th minute of play. Gelu Galușcă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gogo Eguerdi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th match minute, DINAMO PLOIESTI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferdinand Pătran to maneuver through the defense. If Denis Segio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sergiu Tiberiu hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Gelu Galușcă made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Denis Segio sent off a good shot on target.
