Remigiusz Polakowski charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Degerfors IF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dan Grönberg in the 19th minute. Dan Grönberg made a great header on Degerfors IF's corner, it was just that Brzeźnica Lynx's Dobromir Robak managed to reach the ball for a save. After 20 played minutes Degerfors IF got a freekick which was hit by Erling Höijer. Cyprian Gniech took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pontus Lindström. Degerfors IF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Dobromir Robak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kenny Forsberg in the 22nd minute of play. Zula Brak might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pontus Lindström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zula Brak ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johannes Örtendahl in the 29th minute of play forced Brzeźnica Lynx's goalkeeper Dobromir Robak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dobromir Robak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johannes Örtendahl, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After a rather tough play, Degerfors IF's Claes Stenman got a free kick in the 85th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jakub Sanocki during the 85th minute. Brzeźnica Lynx's Dobromir Robak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Brzeźnica Lynx from getting a goal against them.
