Amputees FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anton Startsev was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 45th minute of the match Aleksandr Korzhakov sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Al Stevens skillfully saved the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Through an outstanding action, after 53 minutes, Al Stevens successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Dynamite's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 74th minute, Dynamite's Boris Porohov ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Al Stevens. Al Stevens yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Dynamite's Stepan Akinfeev slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Al Stevens. That made the score 0-4 after 77 minutes of play. In the 80th minute, Stepan Akinfeev made a precise shot to the right of Al Stevens. Amputees FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Al Stevens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stepan Akinfeev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Amputees FC's Benny Schulzte got a free kick in the 85th minute. During the 89th minute of the match Aleksandr Korzhakov completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Aleksandr Korzhakov a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 90 played minutes Dynamite got a freekick which was hit by Aleksandr Korzhakov. If Preston Worsley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute.
