Vincent Wekenburg made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Abelardo Bartoli sent off a good shot on target. Foeke Palsma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Gustavo Abadie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Foeke Palsma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The wind increased when Severo Vachon made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Mitchell Roelofsen managed to get in a good position for a shot. De Digitale Dribbelaars's supporters rose to their feet, but Mitchell Roelofsen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustavo Abadie breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Harris Staarman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th minute, Arnaldo Gaueko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Mitchell Roelofsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The De Digitale Dribbelaars supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing De Digitale Dribbelaars would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
