Albino Froylan started the match with the kick off. Hungarian Olympic's Ábel Barta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albino Froylan in the 4th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albino Froylan in the 6th minute of play forced Hungarian Olympic's goalkeeper Ábel Barta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Danilo Raebert hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. 9 minutes into the game, Aquilino Nabar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hungarian Olympic the free kick. In the 9th minute, Aquilino Nabar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Salvador Incendio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by György Király in the 10th minute of play. In the 13th match minute, Hungarian Olympic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pál Medgyesi to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th match minute, Hungarian Olympic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Károly Berki to maneuver through the defense. 35 minutes into the match, Hungarian Olympic's goal looked a bit too open when Albino Froylan came free, but Ábel Barta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aquilino Nabar got his second yellow card in the match during the 38th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 38 played minutes ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA got a freekick which was hit by Aquilino Nabar. After recieving a nice pass, Hungarian Olympic's György Király tried to score from far away in the 39th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. László Nemes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Hungarian Olympic's László Nemes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Salvador Incendio. That made the score 2-0 after 46 minutes of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when László Nemes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. László Nemes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Salvador Incendio having to make a save. Ambrosio Urki hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, László Nemes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungarian Olympic's supporters rose to their feet, but László Nemes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Salvador Incendio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 68 minutes, György Király made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Salvador Incendio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Albino Froylan got a free kick in the 73rd minute. If László Nemes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Károly Berki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Salvador Incendio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from György Király in the 77th minute of play. Salvador Incendio didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Hungarian Olympic's György Király shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-0 in the ordered_time% minute. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Salvador Incendio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by László Müller in the 96th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Hungarian Olympic fully deserved thier win.
