Gytis Vilimavičius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliusz Rode in the 31st minute of play. Gytis Vilimavičius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aureliusz Rode, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Aureliusz Rode had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute Aureliusz Rode shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gytis Vilimavičius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan Skonieczny in the 45th minute of play forced FC COSA NOSTRA's goalkeeper Gytis Vilimavičius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Igor Majkowski got free with Gytis Vilimavičius in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With 65 minutes on the clock, Aidas Kareiva commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 65th minute, one of FC COSA NOSTRA:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC COSA NOSTRA. Gytis Vilimavičius went to the wrong direction when Daniel Siembab was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aureliusz Rode got free with Gytis Vilimavičius in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Aureliusz Rode managed to get in a good position for a shot. RKS Królewscy's supporters rose to their feet, but Aureliusz Rode was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gytis Vilimavičius breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to FC COSA NOSTRA getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Deividas Tarailis hit a great ball. If Aureliusz Rode had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gytis Vilimavičius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerzy Zieba in the 94th minute of the match. Jerzy Dudek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benjaminas Pankratjevas went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score.
