The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Douglas Tasso came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Atletico Calamar Saavedra's Jonatan Igon. But to his dismay, Jonatan Igon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 26th minute of the match Guaberto Peruanton sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Douglas Tasso skillfully saved the ball. Maximo Gabon struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Douglas Tasso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atletico Calamar Saavedra. Miguel Umbruso took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Douglas Tasso. Douglas Tasso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Douglas Tasso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blas Quiroga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 42 minutes into the match, Orlando Vides notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Atletico Calamar Saavedra's Iker Gilen. Iker Gilen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Atletico Calamar Saavedra's zone, Orlando Vides stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iker Gilen came out of the goal and Orlando Vides tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, BUZZIDA FC -DMZ-'s Flavinho de Salles got a free kick in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Jonatan Igon made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Afonsinho Cerezo during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 52 played minutes BUZZIDA FC -DMZ- got a freekick which was hit by Afonsinho Cerezo. Atletico Calamar Saavedra's Guaberto Peruanton couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 56th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for BUZZIDA FC -DMZ-. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Vides in the 60th minute of play forced Atletico Calamar Saavedra's goalkeeper Iker Gilen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
