Spectators: 7108 (Terracing: 5783, Seating: 1200, VIP seats: 125) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. David Negroni started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Ya Perdimos F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Romeo came free, but Eutor Pineros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, SAN LORENZO FC's goal looked a bit too open when David Negroni came free, but Primitivo Salomone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute, Clodoveo Vellito sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ya Perdimos F.C.'s Eutor Pineros didn't even have to move. A collision led to SAN LORENZO FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Clodoveo Vellito hit a great ball. In the 16thth minute of the game Maximino Ofelio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ya Perdimos F.C.'s Eutor Pineros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Maximino Ofelio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Siro Paio in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eutor Pineros saved Ya Perdimos F.C. from getting behind. Primitivo Salomone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nabar Frontera in the 25th minute of play. Eutor Pineros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximino Ofelio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Primitivo Salomone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maximino Ofelio made a kick off. After 58 played minutes Ya Perdimos F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Gelacio Viya. In the 67th minute, Maximino Ofelio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SAN LORENZO FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. SAN LORENZO FC's Florencio Jakobe was substituted for Roman Goito. Ya Perdimos F.C.'s Henric Santos got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Maximino Ofelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute Maximino Ofelio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eutor Pineros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reimundo Cobides lost his temper 83 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. A collision led to Ya Perdimos F.C. getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Reimundo Cobides hit a great ball. When Clodoveo Corderro came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the SAN LORENZO FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clodoveo Corderro couldn't finish the play. Clodoveo Vellito struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Eutor Pineros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SAN LORENZO FC. Eutor Pineros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Romeo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 95 minutes, Maximino Ofelio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SAN LORENZO FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximino Ofelio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SAN LORENZO FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ya Perdimos F.C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
