But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonatan Igon couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonatan Igon in the 15th minute of play forced THE CRYSTAL SHIP's goalkeeper Paul Piersic to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Matei Udrescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, THE CRYSTAL SHIP's Matei Udrescu got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 29th match minute, THE CRYSTAL SHIP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iurie Floruțiu to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th match minute, Atletico Calamar Saavedra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Silvino to maneuver through the defense. Iker Gilen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matei Udrescu in the 34th minute of the match. THE CRYSTAL SHIP's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dorel Domnescu in the 35th minute. Dorel Domnescu made a great header on THE CRYSTAL SHIP's corner, it was just that Atletico Calamar Saavedra's Iker Gilen managed to reach the ball for a save. THE CRYSTAL SHIP's Iacob Stanciu got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Iker Gilen came out of the goal and Dorel Domnescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Matei Udrescu to strike the kick off in the second half. Paul Piersic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guaberto Peruanton in the 57th minute of play. Martin Silvino kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Basarab Balc managed to get in a good position for a shot. THE CRYSTAL SHIP's supporters rose to their feet, but Basarab Balc was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iker Gilen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 75 minutes into the match, THE CRYSTAL SHIP's goal looked a bit too open when Guaberto Peruanton came free, but Paul Piersic reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Martin Silvino fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atletico Calamar Saavedra's protests and gave Martin Silvino a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of THE CRYSTAL SHIP booed when Atletico Calamar Saavedra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position.
