Siro Paio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Douglas Tasso having to interfere. Ivo Donato hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. The supporters of BUZZIDA FC -DMZ- booed when SAN LORENZO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gavino Fortun didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpected shot in the 17th minute by Ivo Donato got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 19 played minutes BUZZIDA FC -DMZ- got a freekick which was hit by Dagoberto Pirani. 24 minutes into the game, Siro Paio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Douglas Tasso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maximino Ofelio in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Douglas Tasso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. BUZZIDA FC -DMZ-'s Douglas Tasso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Romeo in the 33rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, BUZZIDA FC -DMZ-'s Afonsinho Cerezo got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute of the match Clodoveo Vellito sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Douglas Tasso skillfully saved the ball. After 41 played minutes BUZZIDA FC -DMZ- got a freekick which was hit by Ivo Donato. Ivo Donato struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Primitivo Salomone didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BUZZIDA FC -DMZ-. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maximino Ofelio was the one to do the kick off. An unexpected shot in the 54th minute by Bernardo Romeo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Douglas Tasso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Siro Paio in the 56th minute of the match. Douglas Tasso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernardo Romeo in the 61st minute. When Mário Siqueira came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the BUZZIDA FC -DMZ- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mário Siqueira couldn't finish the play. SAN LORENZO FC made a substitution. Julio Ofelio replaced Roman Goito. After 73 minutes of play, SAN LORENZO FC's Maximino Ofelio made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Douglas Tasso was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 79th minute, Ivo Donato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th match minute, BUZZIDA FC -DMZ- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivo Donato to maneuver through the defense. Maximino Ofelio took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Douglas Tasso. Douglas Tasso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. After 93 played minutes SAN LORENZO FC got a freekick which was hit by Siro Paio. When the match was over SAN LORENZO FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than BUZZIDA FC -DMZ- throughout the match.
