In the 4th minute Jeronimo Pudes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saverio Orlo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Saverio Orlo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abelardo Berriotxoa in the 8th minute of the match. Silvio Pirro lost his temper 11 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 12th match minute, Deportivo Diamante U18 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvio Pirro to maneuver through the defense. Knight Of Dawn's Nunez Tonio couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 12th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Deportivo Diamante U18. 16 minutes into the match, Deportivo Diamante U18's goal looked a bit too open when Delmiro Constancio came free, but Eriberto Sindo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Deportivo Diamante U18 getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Lázaro Eneas hit a great ball. Deportivo Diamante U18's Eriberto Sindo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emiliano Gaztea in the 21st minute of play. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Delmiro Constancio sped through Deportivo Diamante U18's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eriberto Sindo. With a little luck, Knight Of Dawn's Saverio Orlo got control of the ball when Abelardo Berriotxoa tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emiliano Gaztea to strike the kick off in the second half. Emiliano Gaztea charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emiliano Gaztea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Knight Of Dawn's Emiliano Gaztea got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Deportivo Diamante U18's Isidro Ignazio got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 55 minutes of play, Deportivo Diamante U18's Abelardo Berriotxoa made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Saverio Orlo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Diamante U18's zone, Emiliano Gaztea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eriberto Sindo came out of the goal and Emiliano Gaztea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 62nd match minute, Knight Of Dawn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bonifacio Vachon to maneuver through the defense. Nunez Tonio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eriberto Sindo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Jeronimo Pudes put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Saverio Orlo. Saverio Orlo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abelardo Berriotxoa in the 88th minute of the match. When Jeronimo Pudes fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Diamante U18's protests and gave Jeronimo Pudes a yellow card for diving instead. After 94 played minutes Deportivo Diamante U18 got a freekick which was hit by Jeronimo Pudes. A hard shot by Desiderio Gutxi from long distance, 95 minutes into the match, got Eriberto Sindo's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When the referee ended the match the Deportivo Diamante U18 players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
