After having played for 26 minutes, Ove Vase managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. HEDONISM U18's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ove Vase was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ove Vase in the 27th minute of play forced Real Death Ducks's goalkeeper Ronan Marler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of HEDONISM U18 booed when Real Death Ducks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaac Harrison didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ove Vase made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ove Vase in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ronan Marler saved Real Death Ducks from getting behind. Ronan Marler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ove Vase, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd minute Lawrence Banks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvald Åberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ove Vase sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Real Death Ducks's zone, Ove Vase stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronan Marler came out of the goal and Ove Vase tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ove Vases short, quick shot in the 73rdth minute got Ronan Marler to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ove Vase received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ronan Marler came out and tried to block the shot, but Ove Vase slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 77th minute. If Marty Holden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute Marty Holden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvald Åberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isaac Harrison hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Ronan Marler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ove Vase in the 92nd minute of play. Ove Vase sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 95 played minutes Real Death Ducks got a freekick which was hit by Isaac Harrison. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched HEDONISM U18 eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
