Stefanos Topoudis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robert Gera in the 7th minute. 12 minutes into the match, PicksBattle.com's goalkeeper Stefanos Topoudis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gilbert Borda. In the 13th minute of the match Attard Gunners got a corner. PicksBattle.com's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Robert Gera ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Attard Gunners's Robert Gera to fire away a dangerous shot which Stefanos Topoudis despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 16th minute Nontas Gittas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shaun Cassar Torreggiani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vaios Bougatsakis hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Robert Gera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefanos Topoudis having to interfere. In the 23rd minute Kevin Delia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefanos Topoudis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Robert Gera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edward Ganado's late challenge caught a PicksBattle.com's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edward Ganado helped the player get up and apologised. Edward Ganado kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Nontas Gittas made the kick off in the second half. Stefanos Topoudis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Gera, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. The supporters of Attard Gunners booed when PicksBattle.com was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vaios Bougatsakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Kevin Delia came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Attard Gunners fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kevin Delia couldn't finish the play. After 74 played minutes PicksBattle.com got a freekick which was hit by Nasos Stratikis. After 77 minutes of play Attard Gunners's Angelo Incorvaia was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. After having played for 90 minutes, Tilemachos Emmanouilidis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PicksBattle.com's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tilemachos Emmanouilidis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kevin Delia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kevin Delia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Attard Gunners's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
