Spectators: 7671 (Terracing: 5754, Seating: 1764, VIP seats: 153) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Lawrence Banks kicked off to start the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jermaine Brearley during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Patrick Micallef made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lawrence Banks in the 8th minute of play. Ronan Marler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevin Delia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ronan Marler was a little too slow when Kevin Delia got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 13th minute. The score was now 1-0. Kevin Delia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronan Marler having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, George Xiberras left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Attard Gunners fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Delia in the 26th minute of play forced Real Death Ducks's goalkeeper Ronan Marler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Real Death Ducks's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Incorvaia came free, but Ronan Marler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute Lawrence Banks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick Micallef saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronan Marler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kevin Delia in the 37th minute of the match. After 39 played minutes Real Death Ducks got a freekick which was hit by Deon Sheridan. Neil Lia charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Neil Lia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. George Xiberras could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Ronan Marler made a huge save. Patrick Micallef showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lawrence Banks in the 44th minute of the match. When Neil Lia was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 45 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Attard Gunners's Neil Lia got a free kick in the 46th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 55th minute, Isaac Harrison hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kevin Delia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronan Marler having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Real Death Ducks's goal looked a bit too open when Kevin Delia came free, but Ronan Marler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ronan Marler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevin Delia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute, Kevin Delia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ronan Marler was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. A collision led to Real Death Ducks getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Simon Myers hit a great ball. Kevin Delia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lawrence Banks got free with Patrick Micallef in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Real Death Ducks's zone, Kevin Delia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronan Marler came out of the goal and Kevin Delia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee ended the match the Attard Gunners players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
