The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Wasyl Kostrzewa notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Proteu's Dida Mazza. Dida Mazza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 7 minutes, Antoni Jajesniak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TEAM DEATHMATCH WARSZAWA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antoni Jajesniak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 19 minutes into the match, Proteu's goalkeeper Dida Mazza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Norbert Dobrowski. Dida Mazza was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Mariusz Raszek. Ksawery Kazanowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardinho Corrêa in the 25th minute of the match. Dida Mazza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariusz Raszek in the 27th minute. Ksawery Kazanowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardinho Corrêa in the 28th minute of play. After some careless play in the TEAM DEATHMATCH WARSZAWA defense, Ademir Toscano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ksawery Kazanowski. The TEAM DEATHMATCH WARSZAWA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ksawery Kazanowski should have stopped the shot. When Wasyl Kostrzewa fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TEAM DEATHMATCH WARSZAWA's protests and gave Wasyl Kostrzewa a yellow card for diving instead. Wasyl Kostrzewa kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Ksawery Kazanowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gugu Tasso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Proteu's zone, Norbert Dobrowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dida Mazza came out of the goal and Norbert Dobrowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wasyl Kostrzewa made a kick off. After 51 played minutes Proteu got a freekick which was hit by André Luiz Tasso. In the 52ndth minute of the game Wasyl Kostrzewa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Proteu's Dida Mazza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Enéas Pontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Ksawery Kazanowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernardinho Corrêa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ksawery Kazanowski having to make a save. After having played for 68 minutes, Bernardinho Corrêa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Proteu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernardinho Corrêa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gugu Tasso in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ksawery Kazanowski saved TEAM DEATHMATCH WARSZAWA from getting behind. TEAM DEATHMATCH WARSZAWA's Antoni Jajesniak got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. TEAM DEATHMATCH WARSZAWA's Ksawery Kazanowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save TEAM DEATHMATCH WARSZAWA from getting a goal against them. With an all-out effort, Proteu's Ksawery Kazanowski threw himself towards the right post 86 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bernardinho Corrêa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Norbert Dobrowski came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the TEAM DEATHMATCH WARSZAWA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norbert Dobrowski couldn't finish the play. After having played for 91 minutes, Enéas Pontes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Proteu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enéas Pontes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Proteu players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented TEAM DEATHMATCH WARSZAWA from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
