When Waldemar Catarinense came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Waldemar Catarinense couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Waldemar Catarinense got free with Patrick Micallef in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Conrado Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Patrick Micallef tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s Conrado Costa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 25 minutes into the game, Váldson Terra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Attard Gunners the free kick. In the 27th minute of the match Edward Cesareo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ian Brasil skillfully saved the ball. 28 minutes into the match, ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s Waldemar Catarinense sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Patrick Micallef narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Robert Gera fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Attard Gunners's protests and gave Robert Gera a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Attard Gunners booed when ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geovanni Valadares didn't get a good kick on the ball.
