After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When 孟坚夕 came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the 『挑战者』银河俱乐部 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 孟坚夕 couldn't finish the play. After 76 played minutes Proteu got a freekick which was hit by Antônio Brito. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Murilo Ferreira during the 78th minute.
