In the 17th minute, Ron Barber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Death Ducks's goalkeeper Ronan Marler, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ronan Marler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidro Ignazio in the 28th minute of play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Isidro Ignazio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The Real Death Ducks fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ronan Marler should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidro Ignazio in the 59th minute of play forced Real Death Ducks's goalkeeper Ronan Marler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute Sean Ashford shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Sindo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abelardo Berriotxoa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Ronan Marler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Deportivo Diamante U18 fans cheered their team off the field, for while Real Death Ducks had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
